The transport company K. IJzerman en zn. is a family company in which the expertise relating to freight transport has been handed down from father to son. The transport company was founded in 1988 in Moerkapelle and started off with one lorry with a refrigerated trailer. Now the second generation works for the company. Over the years the fleet has grown considerably with refrigerated trailers fitted with tailgates that comply with the latest sizes. In addition to refrigerated trailers we also use Tautliners for various jobs.

After a few years not only had our company grown in terms of lorries; we also had a storage warehouse in Moerkapelle. As a result of the major growth of the transport company, in 2002 we moved the whole company to Benthuizen in the province of South Holland. We now have our own warehouse there with 5,000 m2 of storage space. There are also enough parking spaces for the fleet. The site is ideally located near the N209 in the middle of the cities of Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam.

All our equipment meets the latest environmental requirements of Euro 5 and Euro 6.
